What daily activities are aided by Occupational Therapy?
An OT can help modify the environment and adapt everyday items to ensure independence at work, home, and in the community. At home they can alter the environment to facilitate bathing, dressing, cooking, and cleaning. For example, if cooking is tiresome an OT may lower kitchen surfaces so chopping requires less upper arm strength.

I am a 60-year-old woman with Charcot Marie tooth disease I’ve had numerous surgeries spent seven years in and out of the wheelchair and now I work out 4 to 5 times a week I am much better I don’t have the skinny calf from working out my knees don’t dislocate anymore unless I absolutely step
on something the wrong way I recommend working out for anybody that has Charcot Marie Tooth disease especially children because they might be able to avoid surgery in the future
